Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are essential for fostering community development and ensuring sustainable impact. This case study examines the evaluation and tracking of a foundation’s flagship CSR program, focusing on the digitalization of schools. The study provides insights into program effectiveness, beneficiary feedback, and areas for improvement.

Objective of the Study

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of the foundation’s flagship CSR program on targeted communities and track its progress over time. The program aims to support schools’ digitalization by providing devices and digital educational resources, including new schools into the program yearly.

Methodology

SAMPLE:

  • Qual Phase per year – online: teachers – 30+ in-depth interviews, pupils – 40+ focus groups, parents – 40+ in-depth interviews.
  • Quant Phase – online questionnaires: teachers – 100+, pupils – 1000+, parents – 200+.

METHODOLOGY:

  • Qual Phase: in-depth interviews with teachers, focus groups with pupils
  • Quant Phase: online surveys with teachers and online surveys with pupils.

GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE: US and 4 EU countries

LOI:

  • Focus groups: 60 minutes
  • In-depth interviews: 30-45 minutes
  • Questionnaire: 15 minutes

MAIN RESULTS

Program Evaluation and Monitoring: The study was designed to evaluate and monitor the program’s progress and impact over time. This continuous assessment ensures the program’s objectives are being met and identifies areas for improvement.

Beneficiaries’ Feedback: Research facilitated the collection of beneficiaries’ feedback and insights on the program. This feedback is crucial for understanding the program’s effectiveness and identifying opportunities for refinement.

Additional Research Modules: In addition to the annual activities, the client requested extra research modules focused on specific, targeted actions. These insights augmented the main study’s findings, providing a holistic view of the program’s impact and effectiveness.
